央视播音员成为联合国艾滋病规划署中国亲善大使

中新社北京八月十二日电(记者曾利明)联合国艾滋病规划署驻华办事处今天提供的信息称，中国中央电视台新闻播音员周柳建成，在印度尼西亚举行的亚洲太平洋地区艾滋病大会上被提名为联合国艾滋病规划署中国亲善大使。

　　这也是联合国艾滋病规划署在中国大陆提名的首位亲善大使。作为中国中央电视台英语频道的新闻主播，他将向处于艾滋病感染危险中的年轻人传播艾滋病预防知识。

　　周柳建成积极倡导转变有关艾滋病的误导和歧视性观念，探索利用新型网络媒体平台与亚洲年轻人进行交流和互动，提高他们预防艾滋病的能力。他表示，期待着能够帮助动员和引导年轻人共同抗击艾滋病；与歧视和污名化宣战，改变危险行为、预防新发感染。

　　据联合国艾滋病规划署估计，全球约有一半新发感染者是十五至二十四岁的年轻人。因此，逆转疫情的关键是预防这个年龄段人群的感染。

　　联合国艾滋病规划署资助的调查显示：中国有百分之六十五城市人不愿意与艾滋病感染者共同生活，百分之四十八不愿意与感染者共同进餐。(完)
