  记者日前从中科院昆明动物研究所获悉,该所动物模型与人类疾病机理重点实验室郑永唐研究员研究团队在长期研究中发现,云南境内的北平顶猴对人类HIV-1病毒可感和易感,并不限制HIV-1在细胞内的复制。该发现表明,在现有的灵长类动物中,北平顶猴是较为理想和合适的艾滋病模型动物。在此基础上,建立一个基于北平顶猴的艾滋病灵长类动物模型是可行的。
据郑永唐介绍,理想的动物模型对艾滋病的发病机制、抗HIV药物及疫苗等研究具有特别重要的作用,但至今国际上尚未建立理想的动物模型。非人灵长类动物是目前公认较理想的艾滋病模型动物,作为与人类亲缘关系最近的灵长类动物,黑猩猩可以感染HIV-1病毒并出现人艾滋病样症状。然而,黑猩猩是高度濒危物种,而且体型巨大,不易于繁殖和豢养,费用昂贵,难以作为艾滋病研究动物模型。
我国现有灵长类动物24个种,是世界上野生灵长类动物分布较为丰富的国家之一。云南省素有动物王国之称,具有包括北平顶猴在内的14个种的灵长类动物资源。为了充分发挥云南省的资源优势,寻找更合适的艾滋病模型动物,为艾滋病的发病机制研究、抗HIV药物和疫苗研制建立合适的艾滋病灵长类动物模型提供科学依据和支撑。郑永唐学科组开展了中国云南境内北平顶猴TRIM5基因和HIV-1感染的相关性研究后发现,中国云南境内北平顶猴胞对HIV-1易感,并且不限制HIV-1在细胞内的复制。这些研究结果进一步阐明了天然免疫分子限制HIV-1感染和复制的作用机制,在细胞和分子水平上支持了北平顶猴是较理想和合适的艾滋病模型动物,为建立基于北平顶猴的艾滋病灵长类动物模型提供了科学依据。日前,国际知名杂志《逆转录病毒学》发表了该项研究结果。

The findings suggest that the existing primates, Peking top of the monkey is an ideal and suitable animal model for AIDS. On this basis, the establishment of a Peking-based top-monkey primate model of AIDS is feasible.
According to Yong-Tang Zheng introduction, an ideal animal model for the pathogenesis of AIDS, anti-HIV drugs and vaccines, research has a particularly important role, but so far the international community have not yet established the ideal animal model. Non-human primates is now recognized as an ideal animal model for AIDS, as the closest relationship to human primates, chimpanzees can be infected with HIV-1 virus and the emergence of human AIDS-like symptoms. However, chimpanzees are highly endangered species, and size large, easy on the breeding and fed, expensive and difficult as the animal model for AIDS Research.
China's existing 24 kinds of primates, is the world a more even distribution of wild primates-rich countries. Yunnan Province is known as known as the animal kingdom, with top of the monkey, including Peking, including 14 species of primate animal resources. These results further clarified the limits of natural immune molecules of HIV-1 infection and replication mechanisms of action, at the cellular and molecular level support the Peiping top monkey is an ideal and appropriate animal models of AIDS, in order to build on top of the monkey AIDS Peking Ling Long-type animal model provides a scientific basis. Recently, the internationally renowned magazine "ART Virology" published the results of this study.
